At CodeLab, we're more than just a group of students working on projects—we're a community of innovators, problem-solvers, and collaborators. Our members don't just gain technical skills; they learn how to navigate the complexities of working in interdisciplinary teams, develop leadership abilities, and build a professional network

The four of us—Essam, Omid, James, and Edward—went through our first year at UC Davis feeling like there wasn't enough of a computer science community. With heavily theoretical coursework, it was difficult to develop the skills associated with real world applications of our coding knowledge.
We actively listen to and foster understanding in one another. We put people first and design for the community.
We offer a space for students to learn and grow their personal and professional skills. We value diverse perspectives and are an inclusive and accessible space.
We collaborate and connect with one another through project-building and events. We support each other and work together through challenges.
